Commodore Cinema – Membership Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: 7 February 2025
These Terms and Conditions apply to all Commodore Cinema memberships. By purchasing or using a membership, you agree to comply with the terms set out below. These Terms operate in addition to our general Terms and Conditions of use and are governed under UK law.
1. Membership Types and Benefits
We offer the following membership options:
Basic Membership
10% off food and drink purchases during cinema visits
£1.50 minimum discount on all standard cinema tickets
£2.00 minimum discount on event cinema tickets
Ability to purchase one additional ticket at membership price per screening
Member’s guest also receives the food and drink discount, provided the member is present
Premium Patron Membership
15% off food and drink purchases during cinema visits
£1.50 minimum discount on all standard cinema tickets
£2.00 minimum discount on event cinema tickets
Two additional tickets may be purchased at the membership price per screening
2 complimentary tickets per year to any standard screening (excluding live shows and special events)
Member’s guests (up to two per screening) also benefit from the food and drink discount, provided the member is present
2. General Terms of Use
Membership perks are valid for a 12-month period from the activation date and are non-transferable.
Discounts are only valid when the membership holder is present at the screening and/or point of purchase.
Complimentary tickets must be redeemed within the 12-month membership term and cannot be carried over or exchanged for cash.
Membership benefits cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers unless explicitly stated.
3. Membership Activation and Redemption
Memberships become valid from 7 February 2025, regardless of the purchase date.
A digital or physical membership ID may be required to access benefits. Failure to provide this may result in refusal of the discount.
4. Limitations and Exclusions
Complimentary tickets and discounts do not apply to:
Live shows, private hires, or specially marked premium events.
Online third-party ticket purchases—benefits are only redeemable through Commodore Cinema directly.
Discounts may vary during promotional campaigns and cannot be applied retroactively.
5. Refunds and Cancellation
Memberships are non-refundable and non-cancellable once purchased, except where required by law (e.g. during the statutory 14-day cooling-off period for online sales, provided the benefits haven’t been used).
If Commodore Cinema is unable to fulfil its obligations (e.g. permanent closure), a pro-rata refund may be issued for the unused portion of the membership term.
6. Data Protection and Privacy
Your personal information will be processed in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. We collect only the data necessary to manage your membership and benefits, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes without your consent.
7. Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. Members will be notified of significant changes via email or an announcement on our website.
